Spectacular UFO Display Over Halesowen Birmingham West Midlands England - 70 Craft Captured In Video
Well what a spectacular UK UFO flap its been in 2009. Police helicopters almost rammed, soldiers in military bases buzzed and lights, lights galore.
This latest sighting has to go on record as Englands largest multiple contact sighting ever and is thus well worthy of note. Check out the footage and make up your own mind!

chinese lanterns ?

Yes they do behave rather like Chinese lanterns. In the original report I read the witness said they were zooming along faster than jet planes. This footage appears to be Chinese lanterns, or similair vessels at least.
Having seen a few UFO in my time I can say these do not make the kind of impressive moves that UFO tend to show off.
I remain interested but sceptical regarding this case.

Just to clarify why I took this as possibly UFO despite the video footage being rather similar to Thai Fire Balloons (I lived in Thailand and know these can spook you), here is the witness’s (who must of been seeing them through LSD laced eyes) statement:
“A neighbour had shouted for us to come and look. There were so many objects. From a distance they looked like bubbles rising in a fizzy drink.
“Then they came towards us and flew right over the top. Some were so close they were almost touching and were only a hundred feet or so above us.
“The objects were absolutely silent and travelling at probably twice the speed of a normal aircraft.
“They were all circular and had 13 to 15 lights around the rim. Each had lights in the centre which were flashing on and off. They went south at a terrific speed.”
